Unleavened Recipes

1 c.butter
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp.vanilla
1/4 tsp.nutmeg
4 eggs
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Cream butter, gradually adding sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift together flour, salt and nutmeg. Gradually add dry ingredients to egg mixture and beat until thoroughly blended. Turn batter into greased loaf pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour. Cool cake in pan.
