1 recipe cottage cheese pastry
1 lb. lean ground beef
2 Tbsp. beef stock
1 Tbsp. flour
3/4 C. minced onion
2 Tbsp. Butter
1 Tbsp. minced fresh dill weed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
1/4 tsp. paprika
Simmer beef and stock until meat loses color; do not brown. Sprinkle with flour; cook and stir 3 minutes. Set aside. Saute onion in butter until soft; add to meat with seasonings and with fork gently stir in eggs. Adjust seasonings. Roll dough 1/16 inch thick, cut into 2 1/4-inch rounds. Fill with 3/4 teaspoons filling; fold over to make half-moon shape and press gently to seal. Place seam up on baking sheets, and bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden. Makes about 4 dozen.
