Abraham history makes Spanish connection

IRVINE, Calif.--A former Ambassador College faculty member who taught Hebrew has a new book available from 1st Books: Middle East: Blueprint for the Final Solution: The Coming Fall and Rise of Western Democracy, a 4,000-year history, biblical and secular, of the family of Abraham.

At 710 pages, the 6-by-9-inch volume by Mordakhai Joseph traces the involvement of the ancient and modern players in the continuing conflict in the Middle East.

"It includes the surprise information on the Spanish connection to this conflict and its link to Edom, Jacob's twin brother," said Mr. Joseph.

Mr. Joseph was born in 1944 to an Orthodox Jewish family in Yemen. In 1949 the family migrated to Israel, and in 1963 Mr. Joseph moved to Paris to study French. In 1965 he moved to New York and a few years after that became a member of the Worldwide Church of God.

He served on the Ambassador faculty in Pasadena, Calif., from 1970 to 1975, teaching modern and biblical Hebrew while pursuing a degree in theology.

He served as a WCG field minister in Southern California beginning in 1975. From 1992 to 1994 he served as an elder in the Global Church of God, then based in San Diego.

He currently lectures at the Orange County Fellowship of God, Irvine, and teaches Bible law via a Web site, www.teachingthelaw.org.
