Dallas-area group meets for week-long UB

GRANDVIEW, Texas--A small group of the brethren kept the week-long Feast of Unleavened Bread, beginning the evening of April 16, at the residence of Richard and Bonnie Fix of Grandview.

"This was a noncorporate feast site, and all assemblies were interactive, leading to much discussion,"said Mr. Fix. "There were no formal assemblies on the nonholy feast days, but all activities had God in the forefront."

This was the first time for anyone involved in the observance at the Fix home to have assembled for the full week.

"In the past all had only kept the holy days," Mr. Fix said.

"This was a very uplifting feast, and the many serious biblical discussions and studies that ensued helped us all to grow in God's grace and knowledge."

The observance began the first night with the bread, wine and foot-washing ceremonies. The next evening was the Night to Be Much Observed, which began the seven days of Unleavened Bread.
