Front page: Dr. Bacchiocchi's Sabbath seminar now on tape, DVD

BERRIEN SPRINGS, Mich.--A Seventh-day Adventist lecturer, writer and retired professor has made a professional-quality video recording of his popular Sabbath Enrichment Seminar. Until recently the only way to attend the lecture was to catch up with Samuele Bacchiocchi on the lecture circuit.

For 30 years Dr. Bacchiocchi, retired professor of theology at Andrews University here and author of 16 books including six on the Sabbath and feast days, has traveled the world presenting the seminar.

The new video version makes use of 600 PowerPoint slides in eight one-hour lectures.

"The newly designed PowerPoint seminar is drawing capacity crowds across North America and overseas," Dr. Bacchiocchi told The Journal.

Topics the professor covers include his "search for the Sabbath at a Vatican university in Rome"; how the Sabbath changed to Sunday in early Christianity; practical principles on keeping the Sabbath; and a concert of two tenors titled The Sabbath in Songs.

The audio version is available for $40 postage paid. The videotape version is$60 (for American-format or PAL-format tapes). The DVD version is $80.
