Dr. Bacchiocchi shifting gears

BERRIEN SPRINGS, Mich.--Seventh-day Adventist scholar and author Samuele Bacchiocchi ended 36 years of classroom teaching May 25, the last 26 years at SDA-sponsored Andrews University here. But he is continuing his instruction via his Cyberspace Bible Class, which already has 11,000 students.

"The nice thing about joining this Bible class is that you do not have to worry about being tested or paying tuition," Dr. Bacchiocchi said. "You sign up just for the pleasure of deepening your understanding and experience of biblical truths."

To access 51 Bible studies, visit Dr. Sam on the Web at www.biblicalperspectives.com. They are available as Web pages and as downloadable PDF files.

"The latter is useful for those who want to print out the newsletters and distribute them to their church members and friends," he said.

Topics include Christians and rock music; "Domionus Jesus: Vatican Retrenchment"; popular heresies; and divorce and remarriage.
