Feastgoers invited back to Mystic Seaport

SIMSBURY, Conn.--The Northeast Church of God again plans a Tabernacles observance at Mystic Seaport, in Connecticut. The Feast at Mystic will be "traditional," said organizer Rodger Sandsmark.

"That is, we'll have regular services with two messages. But it is also designed to encourage fellowship, activities and Bible studies."

For housing, plenty of motels and bread-and-breakfast establishments are available. The least expensive will be about $55 a night.

"As with last year, Residence Inn is giving us special rates, which are quite good for New England," Mr. Sandsmark said. "The Residence Inn contains apartments with one or two bedrooms, the latter with two baths. The rates include breakfast and light meals on weekday evenings."

Call the inn directory, at (860) 536-5150, and ask for Northeast Church of God rates, which are good from Friday, Oct. 13, through Sunday, Oct. 22.

Rates are $119 to $139 per night for one bedroom or a studio or $179 to $199 for a two-bedroom suite.
