Points of Truth announces Feast 2000

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark.--Points of Truth Christian Ministries plans to sponsor the Feast of Tabernacles in 2000 at Yorktown Bay Retreat, near Hot Springs, Ark., Oct. 13-21.

"This is the second Feast we have sponsored in as many years," said Larry R. Lasiter of Russellville. "Last year's Feast at beautiful Petit Jean State Park was a tremendous success. Due to interest, this year we are preparing for a much larger number of brethren."

Nestled deep in the Ouachita Mountains of central Arkansas, the retreat offers the Feastgoer a family atmosphere in a serene setting.

Yorktown Bay will become a small community of brethren living and sharing meals in fine fellowship, activities and worship, said Mr. Lasiter.

The retreat is surrounded on three sides by the clear waters of Lake Ouachita, which offers boating, swimming and fishing. Feastgoers will be only minutes from the resort city of Hot Springs, which offers a variety of attractions.

Accommodations include a lodge, 20 cabins, an on-site motel and tent and recreational-vehicle sites. Services will be take place in the resort's new dining hall.

Points of Truth Christian Ministries is still scheduling speakers, who will include Mr. Lasiter, founder of Points of Truth and pastor of the Church of God Fellowship in Russellville; and Jerry B. Boston, TV evangelist and pastor of the Church of God at Little Rock.

"We will also be blessed with the musical talents of Melvin Johnson of Woodberry, Tenn., and Domenica Gordon of Fort Smith, Ark., and many other talented performers," said Mr. Lasiter.
