S.A. church to invite public to Feast service

SAN ANTONIO, Texas--The Church of God San Antonio (affiliated with the Churches of God Outreach Ministries) for the third time and by popular request will play host to the Feast of Tabernacles in San Antonio, the Alamo City, Oct. 13-21.

"All brethren regardless of organizational affiliation are welcomed to attend with us," said Julian Cruz, pastor here.

Sermons, music in honor of God and family fellowship opportunities are planned, he said. Workshops on evangelism and "outreach" will be coordinated by Alfred Harrell of Hot Springs, Ark., founder of the Christian Leadership Academy.

"We are also planning to invite the public to attend an evening lecture concerning the seventh-day Sabbath," said Mr. Cruz.

San Antonio is one of America's popular tourist cities and the No. 1 tourist destination in Texas. It is the home of the Alamo, the River Walk, Sea World, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, HemisFair Park, the Tower of the Americas, the San Antonio Zoo and the Japanese Tea Gardens.

Feast services will convene in the Ramada Inn Conference Center, at 10811 I-35 N.

To make reservations, call the center at (800) 797-1234 or (210) 590-4646 and mention the Feast of Tabernacles, group code CGOM and reservation number G003-91.

Room rates are $54 plus tax for up to four people per room.

"We must fill at least 40 rooms by Sept. 30, 2000, in order to receive meeting rooms free of charge," said Mr. Cruz, "so please register under the Feast of Tabernacles reservation."

Camping is available a mile from the center.
