Blevins, Suzi, Portales, NM (sister of Steve Bruns), was recently diagnosed with cancer of the colon and will be receiving major radiation and chemotherapy. Prayers for her comfort, strength, and healing would be appreciated.

Obituaries
Adams, Alvin, Moberly, MO, did not respond to the medication used to combat his cancer and heart problems. In his weakened condition he died. Please remember his wife Frieda and family during this time.

Howard L. "Sonny" Gober, 69, of Olive Branch, Miss., died Friday Oct. 15. He was a sheet metal mechanic and a member of the Living Church of God in the Memphis, TN area since 1965. Survivors include his wife, Ruby M. Gober of the home; two daughters, Sharon Gober of Piggott and Jodi Hall of Bono; two sons, Mike Gober of Byhalia, Miss., and C. Gober of Florida; one sister, Estelle Haley of Rivervale, Fla.; one brother William D. Gober of Whitehaven, Tenn.; and one grandson.
