Giving & Sharing to ship replicas of giving-and-sharing stamp

NECK CITY, Mo.--Giving & Sharing, a Church of God service ministry founded by Richard Nickels, Gillette, Wyo., is making available replicas of a new U.S. postage stamp imprinted with the legend "Giving and Sharing: An American Tradition."

The stamps are not directly related to Giving & Sharing, which Mr. Nickels founded in 1978. The U.S. Postal Service plans to issue them beginning in October thanks to the efforts of a 76-year-old Seventh-day Adventist, Milton Murray, who wanted the government to honor people who had contributed in various ways to the "philanthropic spirit" of America.

G&S likes the stamp and therefore, for any donations, will send a lapel pin or key chain (state your choice) made with a replica of the stamp. For a donation of $50 or more, receive the chain and the pin. For a donation of $100 or more, order the chain, pin and a paperweight made of white Italian marble and the stamp replica.

Donations go towards printing Giving & Sharing materials. Write G&S at P.O. Box 100, Neck City, Mo. 64849, U.S.A.
