Mrs. Shoaf was born Pamela Jean Lomker on April 3, 1957, in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was a talented creative artist, a former business owner, widely traveled, conversant with events at home and around the world, an insatiable reader, a sparkling hostess, and a sensitive, sympathetic, loving soul. She lived in Antelope Valley for the past three years.

She is survived by Norman Shoaf, her husband of 23 years; her daughter Lillian, 13; and her son Norman III, 3.
