Mildred Carnes Prettyman, 81, formerly of Winchester, Ky., widow of Andrew Milton Prettyman, died Oct. 25th 2005 at the home of her son in Hopkinsville, Ky. She was a homemaker, a member of the Church of God, a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where she was a member of the Alpha Z Delta Sorority, and a graduate of the former Bethel Women’s College.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Alethia Prettyman, Hopkinsville and Jonathan and Margie Prettyman, Lexington; a daughter and son-in-law, Anetta and Garlan Nichols, Wyoming, Mich.; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a sister, Mabel Dunn, Port Arthur, Texas, two nieces and a nephew.
