Merry "Margie" Spurgeon Heaton died Nov. 16th 2004 in Thousand Palms, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband of 14 years, Warren Jay Heaton Jr., in October 2003. She was a longtime member of the Church of God and worked at Ambassador College from the late 1960s to the mid-1970s. Many students will remember her for her generosity.

Mrs. Heaton is survived by two children: a son, David Spurgeon, and his wife, Janice, of Cathedral City, Calif., and a daughter, Blaine Lindquist, and her husband, Dennis, of Arvada, Colo. She also had eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She is greatly missed by all.
