ANADARKO, Okla.--John Trescott, who with his wife, Retta, operated a Church of God ministry from their home here, died March 5th, 2005 at home.

Mr. Trescott was baptized in July 1959 in London, England, in the Radio Church of God, then honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force. His places of residence had included New York; Pasadena, Calif.; Cleveland, Ohio; and Anadarko. He was ordained a minister of the Seventh Day Church of God in January 1981, just before his marriage to Retta Jo Farrington of Anadarko.

Mr. Trescott is survived by four stepchildren, 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
