Mr. Ambrosavage, a member of the United Church of God, was a house painter, veteran of the Army Signal Corps and retired railroad brakeman. He, along with his wife of 28 years, Delores Moyers Ambrosavage, was active in the local congregation. They are known for visits to the sick and afflicted. Their kindness, including Mr. Ambrosavage’s "hug therapy" philosophy, has even generated local newspaper coverage.
