Dorothy Kathryn Williams was born May 15, 1918, in Milano, Texas, to Marvin Lewis and Annie Mae Blankenship. Mrs. Williams died on Sept. 23rd 2005 in Tyler, Texas. She was the oldest of 11 children. She attended various schools in Milam County, Texas.

In 1936 Dorothy married Joseph Belton Williams. They had four children: Mary Ann Aust, Brenda Christensen, Thomas Kirk Williams and Virgil Gene Williams. She was baptized at Belknap Springs, Ore., in 1945 by Herbert W. Armstrong. In 1953 she and her family moved to the Big Sandy area, where her children attended Imperial Schools. She attended her first Feast in 1949 and was a faithful member of the Church of God since that time.

Mrs. Williams’ funeral was held Sept. 27 at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas, conducted by her son-in-law Jerold Aust. Mrs. Williams was one of the oldest living member in the greater Church of God. She will be missed by many.
