JACKSON, Mo.—Arthur 'Art' Docken, 81, a longtime member and elder for 40 years in the Worldwide Church of God, died March 29th 2006 after a long illness. Mr. Docken was a World War II veteran and writer. He recently had completed a screenplay.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Dale Marie; a son, William Docken of Cincinnati, Ohio; four daughters, Abby Williams of Jackson, Judith Docken of Calgary, Alta., Canada, Betsy Bauman of St. Louis, Mo., and Carrie Goff of Lake City, Mich.; a brother; and 10 grandchildren.
