First-time Feast site to open in West Virginia

BRANCHLAND, W.Va.--If you're a sheep who thinks he no longer fits in the COG puzzle, you might like the Feast of Tabernacles observance planned for this fall by Glen and Lee Ann Sanders of Branchland.

The Sanderses have room for 40-plus people to join them for a small "nonaligned, noncorporate" feast in Huntington, W.Va., Oct. 10-18.

"We have reserved 40 rooms altogether and one conference room for 50 people," said Mr. Sanders.

Would-be Feastgoers need to make reservations at a designated Days Inn or Red Roof Inn by Aug. 15. When reserving rooms, mention the "Church of God No. 7 group" for special rates.

Prices at Days Inn, phone (304) 733-4477, are $49 to $58 per night. Prices at the Red Roof Inn, phone (304) 733-3737, are $200 for seven days and $29 for each additional day. (Mention that you want the weekly rate.)

The Sanderses request Feastgoers contact them after making their reservations so they will know how many people to expect at the observance.

Also, "we need singers and musicians, bring your keyboards, guitars, and even CDs of inspirational music you love so we can have music in the background before and after services," said Mr. Sanders. Also bring along any available hymnals, he requests.

He also invited men interested in speaking or presenting a Bible study to let them know so they can compile the speaking schedule.

"This is our first time to set up a Feast site, so please bear with us if we have forgotten something," he said.

Contact Glen or Lee Ann Sanders at Rt. 2, Box 195-A, Branchland, W.Va. 25506, U.S.A. They request a fee of $100 to pay for rental of the conference room, table linens, food and drinks.
