Christians to renew in Chicago area

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill.--Some Chicago-area Church of God members, in cooperation with Christian Educational Ministries (CEM) of Tyler, Texas, will present the Christian Renewal Conference in July.

The latest CRC is set for Saturday and Sunday, July 19-20, announced Laureen Blissard. It will be sponsored by the Church of God Downers Grove, Active Bible Church of God and United Church of God of Bloomington, Ill. (not affiliated with the United Church of God headquartered near Cincinnati, Ohio).

Speakers will include Dave Havir, pastor of the Church of God Big Sandy (Texas), and Ronald Dart of Whitehouse, Texas, founder and director of CEM.
