UCG elders nominate eight

MILFORD, Ohio--The United Church of God an International Association has announced the results of voting to nominate the eight men whose names will be on the 2003 ballot for the church's governing 12-man council of elders in May.

The American candidates are Gary Antion of Cincinnati, Ohio; Robert Dick of Portland, Ore.; Richard Pinelli of Cincinnati; Mario Seiglie of Anaheim, Calif.; Richard Thompson of Buford, Ga., and Don Ward of Gladewater, Texas.

The "international" candidates are Bill Bradford of Brisbane, Australia, and Tony Wasilkoff of Toronto, Ont., Canada.

Mr. Antion, Mr. Dick and Mr. Thompson are U.S.-seat incumbents. Mr. Seiglie is a relocated international council member newly running for a U.S. seat. Mr. Bradford and Mr. Wasilkoff are running for Mr. Seiglie's old international seat.
