CD captures musician's work

PORTLAND, Ore.--A longtime Church of God member and music maker has posted some of her compositions on her new music Web site.

Gloria I. Andresen, a Church of God member since 1971, invites you to visit www.festivalglorious.com.

"The Web site is my effort to bring together the music I have written for God's church over the past 25 years and to make it available to all who love new music," she said.
Ms. Andresen is offering for sale a hymnal with 44 songs and an accompanying set of CDs (or cassettes) so the songs can be learned easily.

The hymnal is available by itself or with the corresponding recordings. It is designed to enhance at-home Sabbath and Bible studies for small groups or individuals.

For larger groups, quantity pricing is available.

In addition to Free Spirit Hymnal 2002, Ms. Andresen offers the Festival Glorious album and songbook, on which she sings and accompanies on instruments including the keyboard.
She also has Kitchen Music, a folk album performed by Ms. Andresen and a friend, guitarist Faith McLaughlin of Newberg, Ore.

All the music is available as streaming audio or downloadable files at the Web site.

Ms. Andresen also moderates a forum for Bible discussions on her Web pages.

The Free Spirit Hymnal and accompanying CD are available for $25, including shipping charges. The hymnal by itself is $10; the CD or cassette only is $15.

Write Ms. Andresen at gloria@festivalglorious.com, or telephone her at (503) 329-9371.
