Voters send incumbents back to board

BIG SANDY, Texas--The Church of God Big Sandy in June reelected John Warren and Wayne Weese of Big Sandy and Karl Wilson of Tyler to its board of trustees.

The congregation concluded its annual election procedure June 15. Each year the congregation chooses nominees in May and votes for trustees in June.

Since three trustees were to complete their terms on June 30, the congregation nominated six people (double the number of terms expiring) as candidates. The others nominated were Linda Cartwright of Big Sandy and Melodee Overton and Jim Wilkins of Hawkins.

Other board members are Don Mischnick of Hawkins, Bernie Monsalvo of Gladewater, Wynn Skelton of White Oak and Don Walls of Gladewater.
