Hank Weinmeister, 22865 Highway AA, Barnett, MO 65011, was hit by a car while helping a young man whose car was stuck in the snow. Hank has a broken shoulder, broken ribs and a broken pelvis. He was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach after the accident, but has since been life-flighted to St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Mo. Hank and his wife are both in their 70s.

Butch Rowe of Toney, Ala., lung blood clots.

John Collins, infant son of Jay and Kristin Collins, tests show that his liver is not functioning as it should.

Karleigh Duesterhoeft, 420 S. Charles St., Westfield, WI 53964, 7 years old, has a cyst behind her right eardrum that is causing hearing loss. Three very dangerous surgeries are required to correct the problem.

Kyle Ledy, 16, suffering from cancerous tumors on his spine and in his brain since he was 6 years old. Recent surgery to place a port for intravenous chemotherapy was unsuccessful due to scar tissue buildup. Further surgical procedures pending.

Merya Long, Hanford, Calif., daughter-in-law of Wanda Smith, recovering from gall bladder surgery.

Emily Smith, long-time Church of God member, 50 percent blockage of the arteries below her heart, congestive hear failure.

Luther Waller, 12 Michael Park Lane, Hooks, TX 75561, advanced stages of MS, terrible pain, no function of arms or legs, and depression. He would appreciate visits and phone calls (903-547-7105). His wife Charlene appreciates prayers also.

Merlin Roush, high blood pressure.

Linda Tarknay, Waynesville, Ohio, recovering from cancer surgery.

 
 
Obituaries

Harriet Duhaime
, 82, died Nov. 2, 2006, of cancer. The family would like to thank everyone for the prayers for her. She did not suffer but passed away without pain or lingering.
 
Nancy Kaping, 57, passed away Nov. 8, 2006, from an apparent heart attack. Mrs. Kaping had a history of heart problems. Prayers would be appreciated for her husband, Raymond, and the rest of the family. Mr. Kaping receives mail at 306 N. D St., Duncan, OK 73533.
 
Andrew Chesley Tipton, 85, of Big Sandy, Texas, died Nov. 1, 2006, in Gladewater. Mr. Tipton was born Jan. 17, 1921, in Moran to Andrew Price Tipton and Carrie Chesley Tipton. He was an Army veteran of World War II and served in the South Pacific 1944-1946. He was a member of Church of God Big Sandy and a retired project superintendent for Mack Shaw Construction.

Mr. Tipton is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Sharon Tipton of Tyler and Dan and Joanie Tipton of Big Sandy; daughter and son-in-law Joy and Charles Garbs of Hawkins; brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Wilma Tipton of Cisco; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Graveside services for Mr. Tipton were held at Hoover Cemetery with Dave Havir officiating.
