Two speakers plan prophecy seminar

COSTA MESA, Calif.--Two elders of the United Church of God, an International Association, plan a prophecy seminar for Sept. 19-20, in Garden Grove, Calif.

The seminar-featuring Donald Ward of Hawkins, Texas, and Roger Foster of Glendale, Ariz.-will lead up to the Feast of Trumpets observance Sunday, Sept. 21.

"Both these men have extensive background in the subject," said Robin Webber, pastor of UCG congregations in the Los Angeles area. "The goal is to make this upcoming festival season meaningful as we probe the prophetic scriptures."

The seminar is set to start Sept. 19 with a service at 10 a.m., with sermon time split between Dr. Ward and Mr. Foster. Mr. Foster will lecture Sept. 20 in the morning. The speakers plan to invite audience members to submit written, then oral, questions.

The Saturday and Sunday sessions will be at Orangewood Academy, 13732 Clinton St., Garden Grove.

The Trumpets observance will take place at the Phoenix Club in Anaheim.
