Independent conference set for Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky.--The Independent Church of God here will once again sponsor a Christian Renewal Conference in Lexington. It will take place the weekend of June 19-21 at Wyndham Garden Hotel off Interstate 64 and Interstate 75, Exit 115 Newtown Pike on Stanton Way.

On Friday night, June 19, there will be a potluck dinner at Western Regency Inn, Exit 110 off I-75. It is about six miles from the Wyndham Garden Hotel, where the conference will take place.

On Saturday, June 20, the conference will begin at the Wyndham Garden at 9 a.m. and will continue until noon. Speakers will include Ron Dart, founder of Christian Educational Ministries; Ray Wooten; and Michael Linacre. A break for lunch will begin at noon. Sabbath services will be at 2 p.m. with Mr. Dart as speaker. Special music will be Stacie Horlick, song leader will be Garry Cain and Larry Keenan will be on keyboards. On Sabbath evening Mr. Keenan will present a keyboard concert at Wyndham Garden Hotel from 6 to 7 p.m.

Services Sunday will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Mr. Dart, Mr. Wooten, Mr. Linacre and Jim O'Brien as speakers.
