All four incumbents voted back in by elders;
Les McCullough is new president of UCG

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--Late on the afternoon of Sunday, March 8, the voting took place to either choose four new members of the council of elders of the United Church of God or reinstate the incumbents resulted in all four incumbents' reinstatement. They are Burk McNair, Les McCullough, Victor Kubik and Leon Walker. This leaves the 12-member council with the same configuration it has had since last August, when council member Doug Horchak resigned.

Later in the conference the 12 council members convened to choose a new president. The Journal has been told that after several ballots the decision was Les Cullough of Big Sandy, Texas, a former Worldwide Church of God evangelist and Ambassador College deputy chancellor under Herbert W. Armstrong.

More details are planned for the March 26 issue of The Journal.
