Ken Westby talks about the 'East Coast Rebellion' of 1974

Ken and JoAn Westby.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--The Journal interviewed elder Ken Westby of the Association for Christian Development back in October. An article in the Jan. 30 issue is based on that interview.

If you're an old-timer in the Churches of God, you remember the East Coast Rebellion of 1974; you also may think of Ken Westby as the bad guy in that uprising. As this article demonstrates, there are always at least two sides to a story. Be sure to read this article (in the print version only) for a bird's-eye view of the tumultuous WCG of the mid-1970s--plus Mr. Westby's thoughts on the current situation in the Churches of God.

The Journal is available from P.O Box 1020, Big Sandy, Texas 75755, U.S.A., and https://www.thejournal.org.
