FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--The Bible Study Web site, www.biblestudy.org, created and operated by Alan Ruth and his Barnabas Ministries, received an E-mailed message June 2 from an American Christian teaching in China, reports Mr. Ruth, a Church of God member.

The E-mail was in response to an article, "The New Islamic Empire," by Ron Dart of Tyler, Texas, founder of Christian Educational Ministries, a Church of God ministry.

"The person wrote that he appreciated the article because it helped educate other Christians about Islam," said Mr. Ruth.

Mr. Dart said the response from China was "a real bolt from the blue."

"I have had communication from all over non-Muslim Africa, from Japan, even Burma," Mr. Dart said.

"But I think this is the first [from China] with the possible exception of Hong Kong."
