Unleavened Recipes

Ingredients:
3/4 C. butter or margarine, softened
1 C. packed dark brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 C. mashed ripe bananas. (about 5 medium)
1/2 tsp. salt
4 C. uncooked old fashioned oats
1 C. raisins
1/2 C. chopped walnuts
Directions:
In large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg bananas and salt. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 13 inch by 9 inch baking pan. Bake in 350° oven for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely and cut into 2 by 1 inch bars. Makes 48 bars. (Kay Coultes)
