Web Site has Twelfth Consecutive Year
of Popularity Growth

In 2007, The Bible Study Web Site at BibleStudy.org continued attracting a widening world audience hungry to learn about God and the Bible.  The site experienced close to a 14% increase in visitor traffic over 2006 totals, with 5.8 million of its articles requested for the year.

2007 marked the twelfth (12th) consecutive year (every year the site has existed) God blessed the site with increased popularity and ability to preach the gospel worldwide!  The site's goal in 2008 is to attract three million actual visitors.

Some highlights of what the Web site accomplished in 2007:

  • The addition of the widely used classic Bible study reference work The Life and Epistles of St. Paul by Conybeare and Howson.  Packed with 2,700+ footnotes the site’s online version also contains the book’s commentary on all of Paul's writings.

  • The creation of a new section called Bible Study by Topic.  Suggested by a site visitor, this addition has proven to be a popular destination for those with little or no Bible knowledge.

  • BibleStudy.org’s dedicated team of thirteen mature church of God brethren called the Email Evangelists handled 674 questions from the public through the site’s unique personal answers to Bible questions service.  Operating every day since September 2002, this service has handled more than 6,572 inquires from the public!

  • The enlargement of the site’s quality Bible study offerings in sections such as Bible Studies for Beginners, Bible Maps and Basic Bible study articles

  • Reformatting and streamlining the entire Web site in order to maximize its effectiveness.  This project included the analysis and removal of more than 100 low popularity articles and Web pages in 2006 and 2007.

On a final note, a new OPEN DOOR to reach a burgeoning, previously untapped global audience with the gospel is beginning to bear fruit.

BibleStudy.org in late 2006 implemented a service whereby more than ONE BILLION cell phones and other mobile devices could access some of the site’s study materials redesigned to be readable on a small screen.

In 2007, its first full year of operation, close to 30,000 visitors viewed 63,000 pages of the site’s Bible materials using their cell phones!  Even more encouraging is that although this BibleStudy.org service is still in its infancy, search engines that index only mobile-readable web pages (e.g. Google's mobile search) already list the site’s mobile offerings near the TOP of Bible-related search results.
